23-year-old Rose-Lynn’s dream is to be a Nashville country singer. Though as a Glaswegian single mother fresh out of prison, that dream is quite a distance away. She starts working as a housekeeper for the very posh Susannah who, upon hearing Rose-Lynn’s singing decides to help her get to Nashville. But as much as Rose-Lynn’s mother wants to support her, she also wants her daughter to take responsibility for her actions. WILD ROSE is a delightful comedy-drama, exploring the challenges of being a mother.
