25th March - 26th March 2019
10:00 - 13:00 GMT
Join us for these hands-on workshops where you can develop your creative skills and build up confidence in discussing contemporary art.
Each week, we’ll be exploring the seven fundamental elements of art: form, texture, colour, shape, line, value and space, with artist Sian Watson Taylor.
Taking inspiration from our current exhibitions we will experiment with a variety of artforms such as sculpture, drawing and collage, textiles, poetry and soundscapes with a focus on ‘pattern’. Through group collaboration, conversation, creative play and reflection, we will consider the themes of our current gallery exhibitions in different ways. We will explore similar materials and processes as used by the artists.
No experience or previous skills needed. Refreshments and all art materials provided. Come along to take part and create art through conversation, creative play and reflection.
Just £15 per session or £45 for the full course of four sessions.
