31st August 2019
19:00 - 22:00 BST
ZOE KONEZ will dazzle The Bodega on Saturday 31st August with her "amazing guitar brilliance and forensic precision songwriting" (Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music).
Little wonder Zoe was invited to perform at the International Guitar Festival in Bath. She and drummer Will Connor last played in Nottingham following the release of her acclaimed album Fold The World In Two. This is a rare chance to see one of London's best-kept secrets.
Nottingham's own BLESSING MAGORE and EGAN & MATSIKO will be Zoe's special guests.
Hailing from Harare, Zimbabwe, BLESSING MAGORE has won many friends among audiences and fellow musicians with his superb artistry. He recently played for the Cricket World Cup on the Old Market Square stage.
JOE EGAN is a guitarist, graduate of Leeds College of Music, teacher, composer and specialist in improvisation. DAUDI MATSIKO sings and plays to hushed audiences around the country. In January 2019 EGAN & MATSIKO shared their first musical conversation with a sell-out crowd.
