An afternoon talking about digital marketing with the Google Digital Garage Team. They will be covering THREE topics on the day:
Intro to Digital Marketing:
1. Understand how people use the internet
2. Learn how marketers use the internet
3. Start your digital marketing journey
For anyone who wants to learn how to get started with digital marketing and understand the opportunities that it offers to marketers. You'll learn how to set up online advertising campaigns while increasing your business' visibility and engagement with customers across digital and social platforms.
Build your Personal Brand Online:
1. Define your personal brand
2. Build your brand online
3. Increase your online visibility
For people who want to understand and identify what their brand is online. We cover which platforms are right for you and how to get the most out of them. You will learn how to build a personal brand and increase visibility online.
Get your Business Visible on Google:
1. Understand how search works
2. Set up a Google My Business listing
3. Manage your listing on Google
For anyone who wants to get their business more visible online, we cover creating a listing for your business on Google Maps and provide training in how to monitor and maintain your website's presence on Google Search. You'll learn how to use the 'Google My Business' platform to manage your business presence on Google.
Entrepreneurs, start-ups & SMEs who need to be inspired, get advice on real action you can take and most importantly receive the essential guide on all the ways to grow your business online.
Google Digital Garage is a place where anyone can come and learn free digital skills to help them find a job, grow in their career, grow their confidence online, or grow a business. In the last two years, over 200,000 people across the UK have benefitted from Google’s free face-to-face training on digital know-how.

6 March 2019 - registration from 1.15pm with the course starting at 1.30am. We will run all three sessions back-to-back with time for coffee in between & aim to finish by 5pm.
