WHO IS BUSINESS ENGINE ROOM?
Alice Davidchack, Business Engine Room: Alice is a founder and managing director of Business Engine Room. She earned a BA in Business and Masters in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Kansas and qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in the USA in 1999. Having worked through university as a part-time accountant for a number of small businesses, Alice started her post-graduate career with Deloitte. Having moved to the UK, Alice qualified as a management accountant (ACMA) with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and worked in senior roles across a range of sectors, including higher education, voluntary sector and local government. Alice set up Business Engine Room in 2014 with a vision to create an organisation which adds unique value to growing small and medium-sized businesses, charities and social enterprises. Having created a wide range of tailored strategic solutions for many organisations, Alice feels confident that she and her team can help businesses go further – be it in generating profit, creating customer value or achieving far-reaching social outcomes. Alice works with a wide range of consultants and affiliate partners to deliver tailored solutions unique to each business.
Business Engine Room is a Leicester based Business Consultancy and Accountancy Practice with a range of accountancy and bookkeeping services covering most key elements of a company’s life cycle from daily book-keeping, regular payroll and VAT returns, to monthly or quarterly management accounts, and year-end financial statements, filing with the Companies House (and Charity Commission for charities) and a tax return to HMRC.
