Open Doors - An introduction to The Big House Programme

WHAT IS THE OPEN DOORS WORKSHOP?

Whether you have a creative or digital business idea, recently started up a creative or digital business or have been trading as one for some time, this 'Open Doors' workshop will introduce you to all the FREE tailored advice and support available to you through The Big House programme, provide an initial assessment of your business, and direct your next steps to set your business on its way.

WHAT WILL IT COVER?

During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to discuss your business ideas and plans with an expert advisor and map out a programme of free business support that will help you to achieve your business ambitions.

The workshop will cover:

• An introduction to The Big House programme
• The help, support and opportunities available to you
• An assessment of where you are now and what you would like to achieve
• Tailored recommendations for workshops and events to help your specific business
• The chance to meet other new creative and digital businesses
• Planning your next steps!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Open Doors is an informal and small group workshop for anyone who has an business idea, is thinking about setting up a new business or becoming self-employed, has set up a business recently or has been trading for some time. You should attend this workshop if:

• Your idea or business is in the creative and/or digital sector.
• You're aged 16+
• You're based in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire

These workshops are FREE but you need to be enrolled with The Big House programme to attend. If you haven't already enrolled you can do so at the workshop or follow the instructions below.
