A Big House Event supported by Creative Quarter & delivered by Ideas in Play
Do you have a web or mobile app idea and would like to know how to turn it into a reality? Perhaps you’re an established organisation & want to know how to better utilise technology to optimise your daily operations. Nader (https://www.ideasinplay.com/about/nader-shamma/) works with people to help them better understand how to take their app from idea to launch and works with organisations to help them utilise technology effectively to optimise their daily operations. He will be available to guide you through the key areas you need to consider when developing your roadmap for a software development project as well as how software can be adopted or built to optimise & even automate many of your business processes.
Are you a designer, digital artist or writer etc, wanting to know more about how you can commercialise your work? Do you need guidance on creating a project or focus your talents to create a portfolio that lands you a job that lets your creativity run wild? Want to know how your organisation can adopt gamification techniques and products to aid with training, increase engagement and help your bottom line? Jorge (https://www.ideasinplay.com/about/jorge-andres/) has helped authors get published, guided comic book creators to develop & publish their products & digital artists get work in the game industry. He will be around to talk to you about how you get better to utilise your talents. Nader & Jorge can discuss an explore how you can utilise playful game elements & mechanics in a non-gaming environment or context. Talk to them about how gamification can help you to engage people inside and outside of your organisation.
Are you interested in creating your own indie game (digital, LARP, RPG or tabletop)? Perhaps you are already building one. If so Nader and Jorge really want to talk to you. They are working on something exciting and are passionate about supporting & working with established & aspiring indie game makers.
A drop-in morning for pre-start & start-up solo entrepreneurs as well as more established small and medium-sized businesses within the Creative and/or Digital sector with questions to be answered about what next, how to & who to contact in the world of gaming/gamification.
Ideas in Play (https://www.ideasinplay.com/) was set up to make the development of games and gamification applications and products more accessible to people and business. They offer a platform from which organisations and individual creatives can work together to push the boundaries of innovation. Working in partnership with NeuralSpark (https://www.neuralspark.io/) and Kauyu Services (http://kaiyuservices.xyz/), Ideas in Play are here to offer guidance and support in developing new products and utilizing gamification techniques to create an enjoyable way to engage, motivate or teach people with playful game elements and mechanics.
