Confetti operates alongside other businesses under the umbrella organisation “the Confetti Media Group”. These include film and TV production company Spool, record label Denizen, the Creative Quarter Business Hub Antenna and Constellations, a specialist furniture design and manufacturing business. The Confetti Media Group also runs Nottingham’s award-winning television station Notts TV, which broadcasts on Virgin, Freeview and online to a local and global audience.
All of these commercial businesses offer students unique opportunities to get first-hand industry experience, from getting signed to our record label, to working on live TV programmes and meeting creative businesses to establish great contacts.

Confetti and the Creative Quarter Located in the heart of the Creative Quarter, Confetti has specialist world class hubs dedicated to digital media, film and TV and music and events.
The new £9.1m Digital Media Hub opens in September 2018 and will feature state of the art studios, labs and classrooms, a Learning Resource Centre, a contemporary café and a rooftop terrace.
Confetti is also getting ready to launch its £3m brand new contemporary music and events facility in the basement of Marco Island – an education hub “of European significance”, which will include world class music studios, rehearsal rooms, sound recording and editing suites, social spaces and a 300-capacity auditorium.
In 2016, Confetti opened its new TV and Film Production facility at Space2 in Sneinton. The former Victorian hosiery factory on Dakenye Street underwent a £6m refurbishment, transforming the site into a vibrant creative industries centre. Confetti invested in a 144m2 Television Studio space with broadcast standard digital video cameras and full lighting rig, TV gallery, a VFX green screen studio with VFX infinity curve screen and a Dolby Atmos screening room.
