If your business is based in the Creative Quarter, we can help you benefit from apprenticeships. We work in partnership with Nottingham City Council's Apprenticeship Hub and Nottingham Jobs to provide a free, specialist service to help you find the right employee. If you're interested in taking on a Nottingham City resident as an apprentice, you may be eligible for funding to help with recruitment costs and to pay wages. We've benefited from the scheme ourselves, with our current apprentice, Lauren Lynch, joining the team as our Marketing & Events Assistant.

We provide advice to businesses in the Creative Quarter on internships and placements in different sectors, helping you find talented team members to add value to your business. We also work with a diverse range of partners to help keep graduates in the city, while making sure they have the skills and opportunities to travel and work in other cities too. For example, we support graduate schemes like Nottingham Trent University's #Grads4Nottm and the University of Nottingham's Nottingham Internship Scheme, which give students access to some of the great businesses and graduate roles in the region. We support The Hive too, Nottingham Trent University's business incubator, by helping student-founded businesses find a home in the Creative Quarter. We encourage businesses to take advantage of graduate talent and internships and have led by example, by employing our own graduates and interns. You can find out more about one of our former graduates, Paige Hartley, here.
