Dance4 has a strategic role for dance development across the East Midlands working with a range of partners, venues and individuals to create exciting opportunities to bring dance artists and communities together. Our artists programmes include residencies, research, performances and the biennial Nottdance Festival.

The Rollo Academy
The Rollo Academy of Dancing first opened its doors in January 1974. The Principal, Susan Rollo, began teaching with just three students. Today the school is home to over 250 students from all over the East Midlands. The schools reputation and achievements are due to all the talented, determined and loyal students who have helped create such a successful school over the years.

Nottingham Arts Theatre
In the heart of Hockley, Nottingham Arts Theatre has shown many great shows here that have showcased some wonderful talent. It's one of Nottingham's best kept secrets as it's hidden away in the Hockley streets. The main theatre seats 300 people and has a proscenium arch and an orchestra pit.
